He is survived by: his parents, Bill King (Gail) of Sullivan and Judi Niemeyer (Fred) of Terre Haute; his children, Tamsen Mahoney (Josh) of Colorado and Kyle King of Chicago; his aunt Debbie Tennyson; his grandson Owen Mahoney; his siblings, Wally King (Cari) of Sullivan, Jana James of Sullivan and Jimmy King (Natalie) of Sullivan; his nieces and nephews, Haylie Dugan (Justin), Landrey James, Ella King, Hunter, Conner and Will King; and his stepsiblings, Adam Smith and Megan Loudermilk.
