He was predeceased by: his son Eric Gregory Simpson; his parents, Thomas Edward Simpson and Claire Cecile Carr Simpson; and his siblings, Thomas Simpson and Claire Ann Simpson.
He is survived by: his wife Donna J. Simpson; his children, Amy Caroline Hudson (Andy) and Adam Gregory Simpson; his granddaughters, Sarah Nicole Hardy (Ryan), Molly Shawna Griffin (James) and Angela Marie Shank; his great grandchildren, Clayton Anthony Mauldin, Haven Ann Mauldin and Hudson Lee Hardy; and his sisters, Gail Fisher (Daniel), Coleen Fisk (Edward) and Dorothy Lanioe.
