He was predeceased by: his parents, John Preston Fowler and Ellen Gertrude Hammitt Fowler; and his spouse Bertie Elizabeth Newsom Fowler. He is survived by: his children, Dr. Robert J. "Bobby" Fowler (Michelle "Micki") of Tallahassee, Florida and Sherry Elizabeth Fowler Baur; his brother John Malcolm Fowler (Angela) of Sarasota, Florida; his grandchildren, Robert C. Baur III, Erin Elizabeth Baur Esquire, Leah Marie Baur, Meredith Acri Plash (Jonathan Myles) and Emma Margaret Plash Leb (Jeremy); and his great grandchildren, Audrey Collins, Sadie Mae Baur, Ella Kate Baur, Vanessa Melanie Russaw and Isabella Myles. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
