She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Ford Hathaway; her siblings, Buford Leavins and Myrtle Leavins; and her son-in-law Joseph Kennedy. She is survived by: her children, Evelyn Kennedy, Ronald Hathaway (Susan), Jackie Allgood (Mike), Norma Williams (Feldman), Larry Hathaway and Betty Merkle. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Covenant Hospice in memory of Aubon Hathaway.
