She was predeceased by: her parent Esther Boodhoo (Cecil Basdeo); her son Ricky Basdeo; her sons-in-law, Richard Simbudyal and Hector Torres; and her grandson Christopher Basdeo.
She is survived by: her children, Colvin Basdeo, Clarence Basdeo, Sandra Simbudyal, Deborah Sonipersaud, Angella Torres, Desmond Basdeo, Andrea Basdeo and Loretta Vega. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and cousins.
