He is survived by: his children, Dr. James Hurst (Barbara), Rob Hurst (Connie) and Susan Edgar (Tom); his stepchildren, Leigh Harris and Joseph Price (Dawn); and his brother Dr. Alfred Hurst (Jean) of Cape Cod, MA.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Bob was a big supporter of the police and would like donations to be made to the Police Benevolent Fund in lieu of flowers.
