He is survived by: his parents, Patricia Roberts of Lithia and Don Hopkins of Memphis; his siblings, Walter Hopkins, Jane Pyzynski, Diana Mitchell, Donna Merrill and Jennifer Nix; his daughter Jennifer Hopkins of St. Petersburg; and his grandson Camden Hopkins. He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews and family.
