He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Floyd McLenon and Agnes McFarland McLenon (Stewart); and his sister Sandy Vereb. He is survived by: his wife Rita McLenon of Leesburg, FL; his children, Eric Dale McLenon of Leesburg, FL, Cynthia Stasak of Lake Orion, MI and Kristi Hooper (Jason) of Romulus, MI; his brothers, Kenneth McLenon of Carleton, MI and Thomas McLenon of New Boston, MI; and his grandchildren, Emily Mustafa, Justin Brewer, Michaela McLenon and Brooke Stasak. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
