He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marian Slater; his children, Andrew, Nancy, Daniel, Robert and Janet; his grandchildren, Rachel, Joshua, Catherine and Bailey; his great grandchildren, Zachary, Emily, Bradley, Reeves, Anna and Riley; and his mother Virginia Slater of Follansbee.
The family asks, in lieu of flowers, donations be given to First Christian Church of Leesburg.
