She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Dowd and Mary Dowd (Harkins); her husband John J. 'Jack McCarthy III; her son John J. 'Jack McCarthy; and her brother Joseph Dowd.
She is survived by: her parents-in-law, Arthur, Dottie, Joan Stafford and Joe Sheehan; her pet Bruce; her daughters, Patty (Paul Serpis) of Foxborough, Anne (Joe Lally) of Foxborough, Ellen (Bob Garber) of Foxborough and Elaine (Scott Barbato) of Foxborough; her grandchildren, John (Kate Serpis), Alexandra (Dan Jackson), Evan Serpis, Elizabeth, Conor, Brendan Lally, Griffin Garber, Sydney, Michelle and Ryan Barbato; her great grandchildren, Madison and Jack Serpis; her siblings, Marie Donovan of Kingston and Edward Dowd; and her siblings-in-law, Arthur and Dottie McCarthy of Plymouth. She is also survived by her daughters are not just sisters, but friends.
