He was predeceased by: his wife Juanita Ashley; and his daughter Lisa Marie Ashley. He is survived by: his children, Brian Ross Ashley (Sandie) of Toronto, Walter D'Vaughn Ashley (Carol) of Land, Mark Kevin Ashley (Christy) of South Daytona, FL, Gordon Donald Ashley (Verdonna) of Elizabeth City, NC, Marcia Lynn Ashley Bradford (William) of Port Orange, FL and Martha Ann Ashley (Bill Fraser) of DeLand, FL; and his sister Gladys Makara of Morehead City, NC. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers contributions in his name may be made to Halifax Hospice in Orange City.
