He was predeceased by: his parents, Willi and Martha Modinger; his siblings, Erich Jauch (Edith), Annalise Modinger Stoeger and Sigfried Modinger; and his son Robert Glendenning.
He is survived by: his brother Fritz Modinger (Donna); his sons, Dennis H. Modinger, Christopher H. Modinger (Kelly) and Eric W. Modinger (Laura); his granddaughter Susan Glendenning Fancher (Michael); his nieces, Karen Stoeger, Kim Griswold and Kathey Ashe; his grandchildren, MaryBeth, Martha, Danielle, Robert, Rebecca, Savanna, Makayla, Dominic, Megan, Logan (Mallory) and A'laura; and his great grandchild Neveah.
