He was predeceased by: his parents, James Costas and Anna Costas; and his brothers, Costantine "Gus" and Clem Costas. He is survived by: his wife Carmen Chase Costas (Mary Costas) of Florida; his sons, William Lappas of California, Michael Costas and Peter Costas; his sister Stella Raphtis of Florida; his grandchildren, Brittany, Lexi, Charli, Blayke, Ryan, Alexander and Olympia; his stepgranddaughter Candice; and his great grandchildren, Aerith, Lilian and Everleigh.
