It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James A. Rood of Largo, Florida, who passed away on July 25, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Dwight Rood and Lois Lorraine Bailey; his former wives, Henrietta Agnes Votava and Etta; and his sisters, Virginia (Peg) and Sharon.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sheila Brown (Jerry), Karin Monvoisin and Sally Parker; his wife Rosemary Brownlee; and his grandchildren, Amber Rikkels (Ben Hayes), Brooks Brown and Meagan Inghram (Clarke). He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
