She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Fleet and Inez Van Fleet (Aldridge); her former husband Edward Mettler; her husband William R. Watkins; her siblings, Harriett Zimmerman, Miriam Bailey and Duane Van Fleet; and her daughter-in-law Diane Watkins.
She is survived by: her sons, William L. Watkins of Jonesville and Ronald D. Watkins (Joyce) of Hillsdale; her stepdaughter Judy Marry (Hudson); her grandchildren, W. Brian Watkins (Barbara), Allison Watkins, Andrew Watkins (Kathryn) of Allen, Christopher Watkins (Amy), Mindy Marry and Jamie Marry; and her siblings, Dale Van Fleet (Gretna), Mildred Galloway and Audrey Younglove. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Allen Area Historical Society or Chapters Health Hospice Largo Resource Center.
