He was predeceased by: his former wife Eleanor Mendell (Feldman); his daughter Cheryl Lucas; and his sibling Sima Brooker. He is survived by: his wife Freda Mendell (Levov); his children, Beth Ann Mendell and Jason Mendell; and his stepchildren, Frank Zlotnick and Renee Baker. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
