He was predeceased by: his parents, Marle Wade and Joyce Wade; his wife Dorothy Ackerman; his sisters, Sandy and Marlene; and his daughter Esther Curran.

He is survived by: his children, Randy Wade Jr. and Phoebe Leo (Lillian Hodkins); and his sisters, Melanie, Michelle and Stephanie. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren who all adored their "Papa".
