He was predeceased by: his wife Gloria Kinder Gilbert; and his brother Emilien Gilbert. He is survived by: his sons, Rudolph Sr. (Randy) and Gilbert Sr.; his wife Sheila Jr. of Babson Park, FL; his siblings, Lucille Gilbert of Quebec, Jeanine Gening of Quebec and Phillip Gilbert; and also Paul E. Gilbert Jr. of Surf City, NC. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
