It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doris Szybillo (Lake Placid, Florida), born in New York, New York, who passed away on December 13, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mae Stevens and Dean Stevens; her stepfather Albert Kikel; her husband Joseph Szybillo; and her children, Patricia Mancuso (James) of Lake Placid, FL, Susan Donaldson of Lake Placid, FL, Judy Pfeiffer (Jeff) of Lititz, PA, Joanne McCarthy of Lindenhurst, NY, Margaret Broadhurst of Ruckersville, VA, William Szybillo (Robin) of Smithtown, NY and Catherine Walstrum (James) of West Milford, NJ.. She was also cherished by 18 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: Girl Scouts of the USA, St. Jude Children's Hospital, or a donation to your local library.

“I just now came across this notice. Leo and I knew Joe and Doris very well during their time at Silver Palms. We began coming there when my parents found this sweet haven in the early 90s. Eventually Leo and I bought a unit and enjoyed many years of friendship until we went our separate ways. Lovely memories of them both. Lyn and Leo Miller”
