He is survived by: his wife Sonia; his children, Miguel Alameda (Kim), Enid Alameda (Andy Lara) and Waldemar Alameda (Wanda); his brother Nestali Cancel; his grandchildren, Miguel Angel Alameda, Gabriel Lara, Judevitza Lara, Catherine Alameda, Waldemar Alameda and Maria Alameda; and his great grandchild Serenity Alameda.
