He was predeceased by: his father Ralph Franks; and his brother Ray Franks. He is survived by: his wife Doris J. Franks of Lake City; his mother Wilma Franks of South Carolina; his daughters, Cynthia Craig of Kentucky and Tammy Franks of California; his stepchildren, Blaine Hudson (Jennifer) of Lake City, Ryan Hudson (Emily) of Lake City and Michelle Harden of Lake City; and his sister Jane Ludlam (Joe) of South Carolina. He is also survived by two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren and six step great-grandchildren.
