He was predeceased by: his father Harlis R. Ellington, Sr.; his daughter-in-law Shannon Ellington; and his grandparents, Mallie, Ona Griffis, Arch and Maggie Ellington.
He is survived by: his mother Mary Alice Ellington, Sr. (Griffis) of Lake Butler; his wife Melanie Cribbs Ellington of Lake Butler; his sons, Garrett and Garth Ellington of Lake Butler; his grandchildren, Tess Joanne Ellington of Lake Butler, Bailee of Lake Butler, Maddee of Lake Butler and Cheyenne Peeples of Lake Butler; his sister Paulette Davison (Larry) of Lake Butler; and his sister-in-law Cherri Ohmer (Patrick) of Lake City. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
