With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Mackey Sr. of Lady Lake, Florida, born in Rockport, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 27, 2024 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his mother A. Ruth Mackey Crossett; his former wife Shirley Ann MacDonald Mackey of Gloucester, MA; his son Timothy Neil Mackey of Rockport, MA.; and his great-grandparent Tammie Smith of Rockport, MA. He is survived by: his stepfather H. Fred Crossett of Rockport; his wife Eleanor S. Weaver Mackey; his son Gregory M. Mackey; his daughter-in-law Donna of Greensboro, NC; his son Robert Jr. (Wendy) of Searsport, ME; and his grandson Timothy Smith-Mackey of Greensboro, NC. He is also survived by grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
