She was predeceased by: her parents, George B. Hillman and Mabel A. Hillman (Messenger); her husband William Wallace Scott, Sr.; and her son James Burton Scott, Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, William W. Scott, Jr. (Susan Nunmaker), David Hillman Scott (Deborah Dunlap) and Robert Pearson Scott (Rebecca Scott); her daughters-in-law, JoAnne Scott and Debra W. Scott; her grandchildren, Kimberly Scott Pennington (Ryan), Heather Rebecca Scott, Emmalee Hillman Scott, Oliver Pearson Scott, James Burton Scott, Jr., Colleen Jeanette Scheiner and Ian William Scott (Amy Ann Scott); her great grandchildren, Dylan Scott Pennington, Dorla Irene Gittins, Lauren Allen Pennington and Jameson William Scott; her great great grandchild Della Estelle-Jeanette Pennington; and her sister Ruth Hillman Hill. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family requests that memorials in her honor be made to the American Macular Degeneration Foundation or Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Fruitland Park.
