He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Lucille Jones, Leroy and Virginia Cherry. He is survived by: his parents, Lawrence Cherry and Lola "Beach" Cherry; his wife Nancy "Jenkins" Cherry; his sons, Josh Tidwell, Ricky Tidwell (Ashley) and Charles Tidwell (Christina); his siblings, Eddie Cherry and Penny Cherry Orchard; his grandchildren, Cory Barber, Joshua Tidwell and Jasmine Tidwell; and his great grandchild Devin Tidwell. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
