He is survived by his children, Diana Parrish (Max Wallace) of Hillsborough, NC, Joan Parrish of Durham, NC, Julie Parrish (Kim Hanna) of Durham, NC and Alton Parrish of Bastrop, TX.; and and also, Elaine Langdon of Four Oaks, NC and Julia Miller of Chapel Hill, NC.
