With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janice Smith (Jasper, Florida), born in Douglas, Georgia, who passed away on December 12, 2019 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jesse J. Smith; her son James Darrell Smith; and her siblings, James Smith, Betty Turpin and Jessie Dassie.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Francis Smith (Linda) of Alma, GA, Jesse Wilson Smith (Donna) of Euharlee, GA. and Janice Lauer (Mike) of Jasper, FL.; and her siblings, Jerry Smith, Doris and Ruth. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
