He was predeceased by: his parents, William Schaefer and Ida Giebel Schaefer. He is survived by: his children, Dianna Johnson of Lexington, SC, William Schaefer (Lori) of Jacksonville, FL, Todd Schaefer of Corpus Christi, TX and Lisa Norton (Mike) of Dallas, TX. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
