With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Suzanne Scollard Gill Tomlinson in Jacksonville, Florida, who passed away on August 8, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Col. William Holmes Tomlinson; and her parents, Dr. Paul Thomas Scollard and Fannie May Scollard (Snyder). She is survived by: her children, Katherine Jane Gill (NC), Roland Gill (ME), Aaron Gill (MA) and Gina Suzanne Gill (late Ed Greco); her grandchildren, Maxwell Hill (Frederique) and Sophia Greco (NC); her stepchildren, Major William P. Tomlinson of Jacksonville and Jane T. Brightbill (David) of Tallahassee; her stepgrandchildren, Amanda Brightbill-Antonmattei (Jose) of Maui and Joseph Brightbill of Tallahassee; her stepdaughter Lucy T. Wallace (Del) of Jacksonville; and her stepgrandsons, Nathaniel of Jacksonville and Jonathan Wallace (Ari) of Jacksonville. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.

The family requests that donations be sent to the Riverside Presbyterian Church (Jax); or to the Tomlinson Professional Development Fund at Riverside Presbyterian Day School (830 Oak Street); or to a charity of your choice.
