She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ralph Cossey and Beulah Cossey; her husband Rex Hill; her children, Karen Hill and Kevin Hill (Debbie); her sister Frances Carter; her grandchildren, Gary Padgett (Ana Maria), Jaime Heaverin (Chris), Kurt Padgett, Wayne Padgett, Ryan Hill and Aimee Rubesha (Nick); and her great grandchildren, Tomas, Miranda Padgett, Damian Padgett, Aedan, Kassidy, Abby Heaverin, Cate and Campbelle Rubesha.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Fort Caroline Baptist Church in Nelda's memory.
