She was predeceased by: her brother William Higginbotham; her son Kevin Kowalk; and her son-in-law Frank Allen. She is survived by: her husband Don; her children, Donald J. Schneider, Jr. (Jessica), Patricia Allen, Nancy Taylor (Everett) and Kim Buckner (Tim); her grandchildren, Michele Platt (Steve), Fredric Allen (Julie), Jacob Schneider, Heather and Justin; her great-grandparent Gracelynn Platt; and her siblings, Ella Lucier (Dave) and Milton Higginbotham. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
