It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Oswald Godwin (Jacksonville Beach, Florida), who passed away on December 20, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Van Lea Godwin; her parents, Wessie Rae and Maxwell Oswald; and her brother Jack Oswald. She is survived by: her husband James T. Godwin of Atlantic Beach, FL; her daughters, Cynthia Godwin Payne Quincy (Jim) and Melody Godwin (Mo Roland); and her siblings, Maxine Ochs of Crestview, FL, Margaret Smith Gardendale and Bill Oswald Tallavana (Lucretia).
In lieu of flowers family request donations be made in Jean's name to The American Heart Association.
