Gary Gene Simons, 79 of Jacksonville Beach, Florida passed away Friday, September 25, 2020 at the Gatson J. Acosta-Rua Center for Caring in Jacksonville, Florida. Gary was born January 11, 1941 in Ogdensburg, New York to Ms. June Houmiel.
Gary relocated to Florida in 1966 and retired from the Harris Corporation in Melbourne, Florida. He retired to Hayesville, North Carolina before finally residing at The Coves of Marsh Landing in Jacksonville Beach, Florida with his soulmate, Barbara M. Bradley deceased May 2018).
Gary lives on in the hearts of his sons, Lance Simons and Vincent Simons, step-son, Robert Bradley, grandchildren, Michael Simons, Tyler Simons, Eric Simons, Deanna Simons, Trey Simons, Ann Marie Simons, Michael King, Jessica King, Heather Fete and Cameron Bradley. Great grandchildren, Theodore Simons, Vivienne King, Wyatt King and Sawyer King.
Gary was a loving father, grandfather, spouse and friend.
