Wells; his children, Chris Schauer, Erin Stinson and Jason Schauer; his stepdaughters, Gretchen Wells and Robin Getsee; his grandchildren, Thomas, Lily Stinson, Jacob Schauer, Dylan Schauer, Precocia Wells, Hannah and Andrew Getsee; his mother Sally Schauer; and his siblings, Sue Cusa, Nancy Angelos, Kathy Guarino, Patti Bick, Bruce Schauer and Kurt Schauer.
