She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Girton and Doris Sirmons; her stepmother Joyce Girton; her brother Edward Girton II; and her husband Frank Datson.
She is survived by: her daughter Connie Thomas (Dennis); her sisters, Carol Nickel and Donna Criner; her grandsons, Jonathan (Michelle), Matthew (Britni) and Kyle Thomas; her great grandchild Jacob Thomas; and her close friends, Kim and Karen Knight. She is also survived by 6 nieces, 3 nephews.
