He is survived by: his friend Deanna Leopard of Interlachen; his children, Colson, Jr. (Suzanne Sheppard), Daniel (Melissa Sheppard), Brenda (Ronnie Woods), Ashley Sheppard of Monetta, SC and Wendy Sheppard of Aiken, SC; his brother Lester; his sister-in-law Linda Sheppard of Palatka; and his sisters, Pearl Parrish of Palatka and Mary Jane Scaff of Palatka. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
