He was predeceased by: his siblings, Eugene Carnes, Doyle "Buddy" Carnes, Carl Carnes, Janelle Forshaw, Reba Millhoff and Betty Nail; and his great grandchildren, Austin Wise and Junior Blum.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Carnes; his children, Christopher Carnes (Tracey) of Interlachen and Cecily Ramey (Ira T.) of Palatka; his grandchildren, Bobby Wise, Joseph Wise, Cassidy Carnes, Jacob Carnes, Rebecca Carnes and Rachel Carnes (Kathy Ramey Blum); and his great grandchildren, Alexis Wise, Millie Mae Wise and Larissa Blum. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
