He was predeceased by: his father Maynard Stockton Nighbert; his wife Glenda Varnes Nighbert; and his brother Paul Nighbert. He is survived by: his brothers, Neil Nighbert (Denise) and James Nighbert (Kristi); his stepson Steven Kriete; his grandchildren, Eli Kriete and Zoe Kriete; and his sisters-in-law, Penny Nighbert, Ruth Nobles, Peggy Lollar and Ellen Varnes. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
