He was predeceased by: his father Andrew Calvin, Sr.; his son Randall Phillip Hurst; his grandson Michael James Hurst, Jr.; and his brothers, Freddy Hurst, Charles Jackson Hurst, Andrew Calvin Hurst Jr., Gordon Arthur Hurst, Kenneth Edward Hurst and Stanley Robert Hurst.
He is survived by: his daughter Tammy; his son-in-law Frank Moran of Waycross, Georgia; his son Michael James "Jaime" Hurst (Sherri Lewis) of Hoboken, Georgia; his sister Joyce Elizabeth Smith (Henry) of Macclenny, Florida; his sisters-in-law, Selena Hurst of Cleveland, Georgia and Donna Hurst of Hilliard, Florida; and his close friends, Randle Reeves (Marie) of Hilliard, Florida and Linda Brooks of Pensacola, Florida. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
