He is survived by: his daughters, Cheryl Cotton Oatts of Birmingham and Mary Carol Cotton of Montgomeryville, Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Kathleen Amanda Oatts of Tuscaloosa and Matthew Michael Oatts (Sarah) of Richmond, Virginia; and his great grandchild Maggie Louise Oatts. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces.
