He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence "Bobby" James and Geraldine Holmes; and his brothers, Rickey James, Wilford Holmes and Walter T. Holmes.
He is survived by: his children, Wendy Session, Shawn Holmes and Brittney Holmes; his siblings, Alexis James, Barbara James, Joan James-Whitty (Albert), Debra "Mona" Burks, Paulette James-Palmer, Rosalyn James, Vicki James, Clarence James Jr. of Fred, Johnson and Austin James; his nephews, Aaron "Dwayne" Hamlett and Collin Griffin; his niece Shawnee Andrews; and his friends, Thelton and Angela Threet. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; a host of extended relatives and sorrowing friends.
