It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Daphine Jenkins George (Hastings, Florida), who passed away on June 24, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Odell Jenkins and Daphine Jenkins (Philman); her husband Marlan; her son Joshua George; and her brother Sydney Jenkins.
She is survived by: her children, Alyeen Lim (Brent) of Oklahoma, Stephanie George of Grovetown, GA., Emily Allen (Andrew) of Wadley, GA., Molly Shapiro (Colin) of Acworth, Caroline Talburt (Josh) of Augusta, Randy George of Augusta, GA, Mathew George of Augusta, GA and Barton George Sr.; her siblings, Bonnie Davis (Joe), Donita Long (Charlie) and Daniel "Buddy" Jenkins (Shirley); and her sister-in-law Jane Jenkins. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
