He was predeceased by: his mother Basilia Fuentes; and his siblings, Lucas Ortiz, Angel Ortiz and Dolores Negron. He is survived by: his children, Darryl Fuentes, Luis Fuentes Jr., Adrian Fuentes, Jason Fuentes, Tiana B. Valentin and Emily Fuentes-Paris; and his sisters, Irma Ortiz, Naomi Ortiz and Belen Ortiz. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and his many nephews and nieces.
