He was predeceased by: his mother Ondina Angela Rodriguez Barnett. He is survived by: his wife Sandy Barnett; his daughter Jennifer Santillan (Edgar) of Lutz; his father Nicholas Ray Barnett of Odessa; his brothers, Miguel Barnett of Brooksville, Mark Barnett (Laurie) of Odessa and Carl Morgan (Jessica) of St. Augustine; and his grandchildren, Jason Crawford, Ryan Crawford, Elise Santillan and A. J. Santillan. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
