He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Banting and Karl Benjamin. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his son Mark B. Shinn (Patty); and his sister Susan Copson (Bob). He is also survived by his 3 stepchildren and 7 grandchildren.
