He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton E Whitney and Helen Whitney (Lehtinen); and his sisters, Gloria A Curtis (Whitney) and Donna H. DeGrace. He is survived by: his wife Judith Whitney (Chenard); his children, Mark Whitney (CT), Kris Whitney (MA), Noel Whitney-Rankin (UT) and Heather Swart (FL); and his grandchildren, Elijah, Zoey Rankin (UT), Hannah, Ashley Morin (FL) and Robert Swart (FL). He is also survived by four children, he was a 'hands on' dad.
