He is survived by: his wife Peggy Sims (Whitmire) of Signal Mountain; his brother Jerry Sims; his daughter Angela Sims (Hyatt); his son-in-law Chris Hyatt; and his grandchildren, Stella Hyatt and Zach Hyatt.
