He was predeceased by: his parents, Oreadus "Reid" Stafford and Cleo Stafford (Prevatt); and his siblings, Allen Stafford, Richard "Bud Stafford" and Linda Mobley.
He is survived by: his wife Arnell Stafford of Glen St; his children, Stephen Stafford, Jr. (Rhonda) of Sanderson and Laura Stafford-Jacobs (Jay) of Glen St; his grandchildren, Jacob Harrison, Kaylan Sweat (Garrison), Brandi Hollingsworth, Jared Stafford (Hannah), Rachel Harrison, Joseph Stafford and Josie Jacobs; his great grandchildren, Zeke, Arya, Izzy and Elias; and his sisters, Debra Gail Gonzalez of Macclenny and Patsy Hunter (Richard) of Macclenny. He is also survived by extended family and close friends.
