He was predeceased by: his parents, Schump Higgs and Ethel Hampton Higgs; his sisters, Amelia Gail Parker and Earnestine Ratcliff; and his brother-in-law John R. Ratcliff.
He is survived by: his wife Bonita "Bonnie" Higgs of Glen St; his son Ronald Wayne Higgs (Suzan) of Jacksonville, FL; his grandchildren, Christina Marie Higgs and Benjamin Alan Higgs; and his brother-in-law Harry Parker. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
