She was predeceased by: her son Lawton Mellroy; and her brothers, Jimmy Cooper and Gary Cooper. She is survived by: her husband Larry Sluder; and her children, Shirley Henderson (Bobby Griffis) of Lake Butler, FL, Doyle Kurlin (Sherry) of Jacksonville, FL and James Mellroy (Shannon) of Folkston. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
